Glass House Mountains & Maleny

The Glass House Mountains peak above the horizon line of Sunshine Coast, but to get the best view you’ll have to make a little journey.

Maleny offers the perfect viewing spot – simply drive to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve and discover their viewing platforms. You will also have the chance to enjoy the lush subtropical rainforest and various walking tracks.

Laguna Lookout & Mt Tinbeerwah

There’s nothing like an early-morning sunrise or evening sunset.

Laguna Lookout offers a prime location, simply take the car to the end of Viewland Drive, or if you’re feeling adventurous head there by foot up a steep trail from Yanaman Bushland Reserve. 

Slightly more of a drive is Mt. Tinbeerwah, offering incredible panoramic views (as featured above).

Fairy Pools

Fancy an ocean dip in the ultimate photo-worthy beach spot? Sunshine Coast’s Fairy Pools are a natural beauty carved out of Granite Bay’s cliff face.

The cherry on top is that this local spot is also famous for its native wildlife, with many visitors arriving in the hopes of sighting koalas and dolphins.

Kondalilla Falls

Don’t forget to visit Noosa’s waterfall dropping 90m to ground level. Simply drive to Kondalilla Falls car park, and walk 100-metres downhill (with steps) to a large grassed picnic area with barbecues, picnic tables and toilets. Start on the Picnic Creek circuit and continue onto the Kondalilla Falls circuit, offering the best waterfall views! This is a grade 3 track – remember to take water for the walk and leave time to return in daylight!

Kayaking on the Noosa Everglades

Enjoy a one of a kind experience with Kanu Kapers. Their Everglade kayak tour was voted the best Eco Tour in Australia 2018 & 2019! While many lovers of nature and adventure flock to Noosa National Park, if you head out a little further you will have an incredible wildlife experience as you glide through the Noosa Everglades.

Perhaps one of the most popular family attractions when visiting the Sunshine Coast is none other than, Australia Zoo. Their passionate team offers you one of a kind animal experiences, with over 1000 animals to be seen.

There’s a few great options when it comes to enjoying a relaxed horse riding experience in Noosa. One of our favourites is the family business, Noosa Horse riding which is perfect for all skill levels. It’s a great opportunity to take in the scenery while making an unforgettable memory – just don’t forget to take a camera to capture some awesome moments.
